We have arrived in Paris!

We found a beautiful little place through Airbnb to spend our time in Paris. The apartment is quite cozy and well-appointed. We wanted to live like a Parisienne couple and wouldn't change that decision for anything. It's been easy to travel across the city on foot and by public transport and our home is so comfortable.

The kitchen with everything you need such as spices, some pastas, plates, glasses, utensils, and pots and pans. Don't worry, there's no way I'm in cooking while in Paris.

On our first night in Paris we grabbed Thai food as it was a strong recommendation from our host and it was delicious. We also picked up a strawberry tart and coffee flavored stacked treat for dessert.

Thai food in Paris--delicious!

Treats from a local patisserie in our neighborhood--obviously delicious!

McCay and I celebrated 2 years of marriage while in Paris. We grabbed a breakfast of croissants and eclairs at a boulangerie around the corner from our apartment. We then headed to the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. The weather has been in the 40s but it felt much colder than that so we didn't spend much time outside gazing at either; we took pictures quickly and moved on!

Pretty impressed with my Artistic photo of the Eiffel Tower!

We strolled (briskly because it was cold) down the Champs-Élysées, the famous shopping boulevard, and saw lots of familiar stores with Christmas displays in the window.
